What is SxSW?

South by South West is one of the largest music, film and (more recently) interactive technology festivals in the US. It takes place annually in Austin, Texas.

I’m glad that y’all got a chance to meet Leslie. He is well-loved in Austin, and even has a Leslie magnetic dress up set available for sale at a few places around town. He runs for mayor every election cycle, and gets a respectable number of votes. Several months back, he was seriously injured (I’m not sure if he was attacked as speculated, or had a stroke, or what happened) and in the hospital for several months. The city rallied around him. I’m glad to see he appears to be back to how he was before being in the hospital.
